My Cake Smash & Splash! session starts with some gorgeous family photos followed by some playtime using gorgeous wooden toys that are as stylish as they are fun. Then, it's time for the main event: cake smashing! Watching your baby dive into that sweet, creamy goodness is a sight you won't soon forget. And after all the smashing is done, we finish off with a splash in the bath to clean up. The Mini Cake Smash/Birthday session opt out the bath part, focusing on just the cake smash portion.

Yes! You’re welcome to choose the cake option that works best for you:

• Professional Cake – I can provide a beautiful one-tier, 4" vanilla barrel cake made by a local baker for +$100.
• Bring Your Own Cake – You’re welcome to bring your own cake. A $20 cleaning fee applies.
• No Mess Option – Prefer to keep things clean? You can choose a realistic artificial cake prop for a similar aesthetic free of charge.

Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring any personal props or outfits that are meaningful to your family or fit the style you’re envisioning. I also provide a Session Guide before your photoshoot with helpful styling tips, outfit suggestions, and a full walkthrough so you know exactly what to expect.

Absolutely. I fully respect your privacy. You may choose to keep your images completely private and not shared on my website, social media, or marketing materials. However, because portfolio images are an important part of how I grow my small business, a 10% Image Non-Usage Privacy Fee applies to sessions where clients request full privacy and opt out of all sharing.

If you still wish to allow some level of privacy without the fee, I also offer the following options at no additional cost:

• Limited Sharing (No Child Full Facial View) - Permission to share images only if the child(ren)’s full face is not visible. Images may include parents or adults, as well as non-identifiable photographs of children, such as detail shots (hands, feet), back-facing images, or side/profile views where the child’s facial features are not clearly identifiable.
• Limited Sharing (No Faces) - Permission to share images only if no faces of any participants are visible. This may include detail shots, hands, close-ups, back-facing images, over-the-shoulder views, side/profile views with no identifiable facial features, or silhouettes.

You are always in control of how your images are used, and your preference will be recorded in your client file.

No—proof images are delivered with a watermark and are for viewing and selection purposes only. They are lightly edited so you can choose your favourites for final retouching. Once you make your selections, those chosen images will be fully edited and delivered without watermarks. If you’d like to purchase additional images beyond your package, you’ll find upgrade options available in your proof gallery.

Yes, absolutely! If you’d like more images than what’s included in your package, you’ll have the option to purchase individual extra photos or even upgrade to the full gallery. Pricing details will be available directly in your proof gallery after the session, so you can decide once you’ve seen your images.
